One of the things we are most proud about in establishing The Lews Distillery is that we are the very first distillery to distill our gin right here on the island - something that has always been very important to us as island natives. 

We want to ensure that every single drop of Stornoway Gin that leaves the Isle of Lewis offers a true taste of the spirit of the Hebrides. That's why we lovingly craft our gin right here on our family croft - land on which we have tended for many a year. First as shepherds (which we still are of course - as you can see in our distillery identity), and now as distillers. 

As this new journey begins, we are very excited to share it with you. We'll be posting some updates as we go to this From The Croft section of our website, and for those of you that are keen, you can sign up to our email newsletter right here.
